Durchhörbar und präsent klingen die aufgenommenen Werke. Unprätentiös und natürlich kommt diese Kanmmermusik daher. Sicher verzieren die Streicher, sicherlich zeigt uns Plunkett, was er an Verzierungen spielen kann. Dennoch besticht diese CD über ihr Repertoire hinaus durch fein aufeinander abgestimmtes kammermusikalisches Spiel auf der einen Seite, wie selbstbewußtes solistisches Hervortreten Einzelner auf der anderen.
