Seventeenth and eighteenth century music in all its splendour emanating from South-German and Austrian main centres of the art forms the nucleus of the repertoire specialised in by Bell'Arte Salzburg. Power of expression, vitality of performance and richness of timbre are among the qualities distinguishing this professional ensemble. Founded in 1995 by Annegret Siedel, Bell'Arte Salzburg has earned a first-class reputation for itself both at home and abroad. This is further enhanced by the convincing character of each individual concert programme as well as the intriguing instrumental potential of the ensemble as a whole. Occasionally prominent vocalists are invited to perform with the Ensemble.
